Little Leyla was my first newborn photo session of the year. At about 4 weeks she is still the smallest cutest little thing. We couldn’t get her to sleep so most shots were with her eyes wide open. I don’t usually do studio set-ups like this so this was pretty much an experimental session.
It’s amazing how fast kids grow. My niece now has FOUR baby teeth in and has almost perfected walking (well, with assistance). She is always on the move and refuses to sit still. My mom and aunts joke, “this one’s going to be a trouble maker…just like her Aunt Trang!” Me? A troublemaker? Hahahaha. It’s not that I was a mischevious kid…more like, inquisitive and an explorer?

I had a chance to do some executive headshots last week. We did the traditional pose but played with some fun ones as well.

Saturday was a windy and blistering cold day but Lieu & Adam were great sports! We did an engagement sitting in downtown Annapolis and then hit the sushi bar to warm up! I absolutely love the textures and colors in downtown. I think the shots turned out great despite us freezing our tushies off!
