I had another fun shoot with little Jasmine over the weekend. This time, we tried some urban style photos in Baltimore. It was so windy and Jasmine’s hair went naturally wild!

My sister, Phuong, came along to shadow me. This was her first shoot and I think her images turned out great! See for yourself!

2009 Seniors {maryland senior portraits photographer}

Go class of 2009! Can you believe high school is almost over? Don’t fret, it’s not too late for senior portraits!

I never liked the traditional cap and gown senior portraits. That’s why when given the opportunity to photograph Melissa and Deanna, I wanted to give them something fresh, fun, and funky. I wanted to capture images that showcased their silly personalities and hip & modern style. Thank-you ladies for a fun and interesting afternoon in Old Ellicott City!

Little Leyla {maryland newborn photographer}

Little Leyla was my first newborn photo session of the year. At about 4 weeks she is still the smallest cutest little thing. We couldn’t get her to sleep so most shots were with her eyes wide open. I don’t usually do studio set-ups like this so this was pretty much an experimental session.

Sitting Pretty {maryland children photographer}

It’s amazing how fast kids grow. My niece now has FOUR baby teeth in and has almost perfected walking (well, with assistance). She is always on the move and refuses to sit still. My mom and aunts joke, “this one’s going to be a trouble maker…just like her Aunt Trang!” Me? A troublemaker? Hahahaha. It’s not that I was a mischevious kid…more like, inquisitive and an explorer?

Here are a few photos from yesterday’s photoshoot. I love shooting with natural lighting. All the shots below were shot with natural light coming in from the windows.

I love the pink hat but Taylor was not having it!

She didn’t like they grey hat either….

I had a chance to do some executive headshots last week. We did the traditional pose but played with some fun ones as well.
