I had a great time photographing the P family earlier this month. Mrs. P’s parents were in town for the holidays so they decided to book a large family holiday session! Here are a few sneak peeks!

The girls with their Lolas!

The P family just welcomed a new member to the family- meet little Nathaniel with his two older sisters, Mickey & Gaby!

Mickey & Gaby are super talented! Not only do they know how to play the piano, guitar, and violin, but they also participate in many sports from soccer, to lacrosse, to gymnastics! Here are the girls rockin out-

Thanks Mr & Mrs P for letting me stop by to photograph your beautiful family! Had a blast!

There’s something about photographing newborns that always makes me smile…the crinkle of their nose, their wrinkly little toes, and their cute tiny clothes,
.

I had the pleasure of meeting Baby Natalie this past weekend. She was a tiny little thing weighing in at 6lbs 10oz with big bright eyes and long ballerina legs, she was absolutely precious. Mom and Dad did a wonderful job with Natalie’s room, beautifully decorated with a light pink and green theme.

Who can resist this smile??

Congratulations “S” Family- thank-you again for allowing me to photograph your beautiful family! :)

the a family fall session: centennial park {maryland family photographer}

I always love photographing my sister and her beautiful family. They are my biggest supporters and clients ;) This year we headed to Centennial Park for a Fall mini session! If you are interested in holiday photos, it’s not too late to book a session! Give me a holla! :)

2011 was a big year for the A Family. Taylor is now three and we welcomed Baby Bodhi!

Bodhi looks a lot like his Daddy. :) And yes, Daddy picked out the outfit and even popped his collar in some of the shots. So fashion savy… ;)

Bodhi with his big sis, Taylor. It’s so cute watching Bodhi and Taylor interact. Everytime Taylor walks by or talks to him, he stares intently at her and smiles.

Daddy’s little girl…

Taylor is my super model! She is FULL of personality-  Love her laugh, love her smile, love her mischievous little self!

okay..maybe i should rename this blog post “Taylor’s Fall Mini Session” ;)

Taylor was so excited that her and Mommy had matching boots!

Finally got to use my antique show find yellow chair outdoors!

I love it when past clients return and I’m able to see how much their family has grown. You might remember the M Family last year  from their family session at Echo Park. This year, we decided to head to Savage Mills for a Fall Family session. The colorful fall leaves paired with the golden light and the beautiful M family made for gorgeous photos! :)

Here’s a photo of Natalie last year, followed by a photo of her this year. Little Natalie is now a beautiful and energetic 2!

Natalie at TWO (2011)

Thanks M Family for a great session!

veronica & eddie: a fall e-session in carroll county {maryland engagement photographer}

They looked into each other’s eyes,
He brushed the hair from her face,
She giggled, blushing in his warm embrace…

Okay, so I’m not the best poet, but seriously, how cute are these two??

Nestled in the heart of Westminster is a beautiful place enriched with history and filled with old country charm called the Carroll County Farm Museum. I met up with Veronica and Eddie there for their engagement session in early October. Veronica (aka Roni) is an old college friend and former teammate. We used to cheer together in college, in fact, she used to be one of my bases- needless to say she is a super strong woman! I was so happy for Roni when she announced her engagement to Eddie and so honored when they asked me to photograph their wedding! If you haven’t ever visited the Carroll County Farm Museum, I would highly recommend it for an educational family outing!

Watching how Roni and Eddie interacted during our shoot, I could tell that they were truly in love and simply put, soul mates. They made each other laugh and you could just see it in their eyes how happy in bliss they are. Roni’s warm and bubbly personality, paired with Eddie’s charm and humor, made for such a fun photo session!

Seriously, these two are gorgeous together!

Thank-you Roni & Eddie for allowing me to do a little experimenting on our shoot and even agreeing to run through the forest! :) Looking forward to capturing your big day! Much love!

My friend from college recently had her baby. Little Ariana weighed in at 5lbs 12oz, and 20.5″ long. She was so tiny and looked like a little peanut (the nick name might stick since Grandma started calling her that before she was even born). Despite her tiny size, little Ariana has long long legs! She’ll grow up to be tall and skinny like her mom for sure :)

Here’s a sneak peek at the tiny ballerina in the making…

part 2: hillary & toms intimate cambridge wedding {cambridge maryland wedding photographer}

Hillary and Tom decided to do a “First Look” prior to their ceremony. I love it when couples plan a “first look”, it gives them a great opportunity to spend a little quiet time prior to the hustle and bustle of the day to just BE with each other.

Hillary has the cutest little boy named Harper. This kid is going to grow up to be a heartbreaker!

I absolutely loved the thumbprint tree guest book!

Putting their own spin on tradition, Hillary and Tom both walked down the aisle together :)

Loved how they incorporated little Harper in their ceremony :)

The couple’s friend, Christopher, did a wonderful job officiating the wedding. He knew the couple so well which made the ceremony more personable and intimate.

Hillary and Tom,  you two are absolutely stunning together…

Harper with his Dad, Jimmy.

Seriously, can the view get any better than this?

Harper and his mom share a special moment together…

Congratulations Tom & Hillary! Thank-you for letting us be apart of your big day. Wishing you much love and happiness. :*

hillary & tom : an intimate wedding in cambridge part 1 {maryland wedding photographer}

Filed under weddings • Written by trang @ 1:47 PM

September was a month full of rain… and of course, let’s not forget the hurricane that hit and left many of us without power for days. September 24th started off with an overcast and a high chance of rain but mother nature held off in time for Hillary and Tom’s wedding.

Hillary and Tom wanted a small intimate wedding with family and close friends. The wedding took place at a friends beautiful house hidden in Cambridge, Maryland right near the water.

I loved how the couple incorporated family into their big day. Hillary’s mom made the beautiful embroidered towels for guests to take home and her engagement ring belonged to Tom’s late mother.

Due to the heavy amount of rain Maryland received there were plenty of mosquitoes who showed up to greet us. Hillary and Tom came prepared with plenty of bug spray for themselves and their guests!

Up next… Part 2: The First Look
